Deuteronomy 10:14 To the Lord your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.

This passage teaches us that God is the owner of everything even our own lives. We are only the manager of His possessions, and we must be proved faithful with the resources He has given us. 1 Corinthians 4:2

Jesus told us a parable of a manager who was accused of wasting the possessions of his master in Luc 16. This manager was fired because he could not give an account of his management. He could not be trusted.

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. Luc 16:10”.

There is a surplus of fruits in Haiti right now. Most of them will go to waste. Haiti fails to recognize that the true owner of those possessions is God almighty. They could have just shared those fruits with other countries. Only and only if they knew that it is better to give than to receive.

Heavenly Father, please helps us to understand that you are the owner of everything, and we should be faithful not wasting your possessions. Help us to apply this principle in our lives that it is better to give than to receive. In Christ Jesus we pray. Amen
