Last week, one of my Kenyan colleagues at work publicly degraded and talked down to me about my native country, Haiti. Kenyans are not better than Haiti, but the only difference is that Haiti is currently experiencing a political crisis. This shall pass because Haiti shall live again. Who the Son set free, it is free indeed; Haiti shall be free Again.

It is a reality that Kenya, an African country, kidnapped and sold its citizens to slavery during the colonial era. Kenyans were in the business of kidnapping fucks and selling them as cattle. According to the Bible, “Anyone who kidnaps someone is to be put to death, whether the victim has been sold or is still in the kidnapper’s possession Exodus 21:26”. Therefore, the Kenyans people and the Kenyans government have no right to put their mouth in the affair of Haiti.

During the colonial era, the Kenyans failed to comprehend the actions they took towards their brothers and sisters. Their president is motivated by money and greed to assist the West in destroying Haiti. This is evil. God is in our side, and Haiti will overcome. According to my Kenyan colleagues, the money being used is not from Haiti, therefore Haiti should remain silent. He continued to say that Haiti is so poor that the United States must do everything possible for Haiti. What is such an arrogant statement from a poor African man from Kenya?

He is ignorant because he should have known that the United States lent money to Haiti with an interest rate. Money does not magically appear from nowhere. The United States government cannot take taxpayers’ money and give it to another country for free. Haiti will be obligated to repay the United States for the money that the United States intends to give to Kenyans. If my Kenyan colleague believes that Haiti is so impoverished, why is his president and his country trying to profit from Haiti?

Haiti’s sovereignty demands that it be treated with respect. Haiti can no longer be dictated what to do by an outside force or voice. The time has come for freedom to reign in Haiti, declares the Lord Almighty. My fellow Haitian let’s not be influenced by our enemies who never want the best for Haiti. When things appear to be dark, it’s time for deliverance. Long live Haiti for ever and ever through Christ Jesus. Amen and Amen
